Young Love, Sweet Love

by: Dessa Baleros
Is falling in love just nature’s way to keep each of us living? What is the right age to fall in love? For me, there is no such thing as “You’re too young to fall in love” Age doesn’t matter when people fall in love. Whether a person is too young or too old, no one could dictate you to stop falling for someone because love comes naturally.  There are things that we cannot control.
In my opinion, it is agreeable for high school students to have a romantic relationship. First, having a companion makes us more stimulated. We are motivated to do better than we could. Research shows that being in love causes a person to think more “globally”, to come up with new ideas. It could make us more innovative. Second, having a good relationship with your companion makes a person emotionally fit. It can make a person have a good relationship not only with his or her companion but also with other people. Falling in love sets the mood of a certain person. Lastly, having a relationship could make one mature. It would be an experience if we had a relationship with a person.
I would be cynical when it comes to this topic. There is no perfect relationship. There would be times when young lovers would fight because of their differences. This situation cannot be avoided because being a human, it comes naturally. But with this, it could build up strong relationships when these differences were overcome. Having a romantic relationship, as early as a teenager, isn’t dreadful. As long as this relationship is healthy and it’ll not lead us to any harm.
