Gospel Thoughts

In the start, Jesus tells his disciples about the earth being inherited to them when Jesus arrives again. The gospel talks about how people would be against the believers when He returns. The gospel also talks about how people would “pose” as God and trick them into believing this false idol. It is also mentioned that the people who we trust the most would be the ones who would bring us to the Lord when He comes again.
      I am a devout Catholic. I believe in God and I will deny it. But whenever I am exposed to those who have little faith, I start to question mine. Though I do not wish to, I cannot help myself in thinking. “Do I really believe in God and am I ready give up my life for Him?” This saddens me as I’ve believed in Him throughout my life and now, I start to question my faith. If this goes on, who knows what would happen to me? Being conscious about this, I try my best to keep my faith strong by going to mass every Sunday and pray the rosary whenever I can.
      After reading this gospel, I will strengthen and deepen my faith in God. I have talked to my parents about joining our local worship band to help “rebuild” my faith in Him through my talent in music. I believe that through this, I will have a more intimate relationship with God and Mama Mary as well. I am looking forward to joining this worship band. I believe that this would really help me with my problems.
