Gospel Reflection

by: Valerie D. Rivera

I. Summary
Some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, then Jesus told them that they will see this temple down, not even a stone upon another will be seen. Then they ask Jesus when it will happen, and what the signs are before it happens. Jesus says to them that bad things would happen, but they shouldn’t be terrified for Jesus shall give them wisdom in speaking that all their adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute. And if some of them are put to death, they are doing it to secure their lives.
II. Judge
I experienced almost the same situation in a softball game. It was one of the most important game of the season, all of my team mates were well prepared and our star player was already up for the challenge. But unfortunately our star player got injured during the warm up and couldn’t play the game. From that moment, we knew we were gonna lose this game without her. But instead of forfeiting the game,  we just continued it even though we knew we were going to lose. We wanted them to know that we could still fight and we weren’t quitters.
III. Action
What I will do from now on, I will make sure I do what is need to do for the better good. Even if it hurts me, I will sacrifice myself just to save my life.
IV. Conclusion
I learned that Jesus is always there beside us or in our head deciding for us. He decides what to make us do. So always follow what you think is good for you and for everyone.
