Should we really encourage high school relationships? If we balance the pros and cons, we discover that there are more beneficial things we acquire from encouraging high school relationships, of course, as long as there are boundaries placed along the line. Having a significant other not only allows the student to become more mature emotionally, it allows the student to handle problems in a more mature way and allows them to think more like adults and they learn how to deal with things in a better fashion. Though some may lead themselves to violent practices, this is only a small percentage of teenagers, and most of the time, it is because they have other problems such as family issues. Another is that the student in a good relationship learns how to interact with other people better. They are also given this sense of security besides with their families. This helps them feel more confident of themselves and allows the student to perform better in different tasks. If boundaries are observed, the young couple may become more mature and learn how to deal with life issues at their worst together and at the same time learn how to depend on others and not only on themselves all the time. A partner allows them to grow and gain more insight in life. Even those relationships that end will give students a lesson and more insight in different things. Either way, whether a relationship ends or stays, a student can learn from it and become a better person after gaining new experiences.
