Teenage Dream
Debate Proposition: "It is helpful and advisable that high school students should have a romantic relationship"
As they say, high school is the best chapter in our lives. Why is this so? It’s because high school students feel liberal and free without having to face the consequences of such actions due to minor age. They feel like everything is of reach like there are limitless possibilities in living a teenage dream. One of which possibility is having to fall in love with someone who they think is the right one. I honestly can’t say whether it is healthy for a high school student to engage into a mutual relationship. If I were to weigh the boat, it turns out that there are certain situations wherein it is healthy and as well there are others wherein it is not.
If a student is flunking in his or her studies, obviously it is not advisable for that student to have a romantic relationship, unless that student works better when he or she is inspired. I know for a fact that high school students are too young for romantic love, but affection and infatuation are inevitable in this stage of life. My stand here is that any student who engages in such relationship should be responsible enough to put his or her studies and family at the top priority, yet without sacrificing the healthy and pure romantic relationship of his or hers, especially if this motivates him or her to do better each day.
