The gospel last Sunday came from the book of Luke. Jesus said to the people, while they were talking about how the temple was made of costly stones, that in the future all of these stones will be gone. They asked Jesus when that day will come and what the signs were of what He spoke of; Jesus just told them that there would be wars, earthquakes, famine and plagues. Jesus told them that the believers of Christ will be saved.
At the start of the gospel, they were talking about precious stones in which will disappear. These are the materials that aren’t really essential to us when the world ends. Though destruction will happen in the world, believers of Chris will be saved, meaning that the people will be saved and go to heaven in peace.
When the world does end, we will be prepared for we know that Jesus is by our side protecting us from harm. We will be confident that God will gladly take us back to the promise land we deserve. For now, we must sacrifice and just do what is right till the time comes for us to be with Him.
