Sinking Ship: Bestfriend vs. Lover

My stand in this debate topic is to save my lover because the love that we have for each other is already five years and the time we shared can never replace any. Other people might say that feelings for the lover fade and that the feelings can be found anywhere for a reason that we can all loved and be loved romantically as for having a best friend’s love is rare to find, but I believe that there can only be one true love that only a true lover can give. At first my stand is to save my best friend, but I realized that I’m only making a fool out of myself because when I said that I will save my best friend, I meant that I will only save if my best friend is a girl. My first stand is unfair and somehow biased, so my final choice will be to save my lover or should I say true lover which I dedicate my whole life to. In conclusion, I love both my lover and my best friend and even though I chose to save my lover that will not change the relationship that I had with my best friend. If ever I am given a chance, I will save both of them and die trying.
