“Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.” A beautiful line without false meanings like this can tell the story of a man. A man who seeks the truth, who seeks his own redemption, who seeks for fair trial and who seeks for justice to be served.
He who seeks for Justice will receive Justice. As a just man is treated justly, so does his companions who follow his justly upbringing; therefore, justice and fairness should be served for the betterment of the public. But the public itself knows not of the immoralities people claim to be just. To sacrifice morals for the sake of order is an empty law, for the man who rids of his morals will lead the life of the devil. I know if Justice is to be served, and then Justice then should be inspired among the people.
What the reading seeks is for those who are willing to bring justice just – no pun intended – how Moses defined the Justice of the Lord. The Lord is a loving God, but he is also just, so he will smite those he deems not justifiable by the truth. Therefore, blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice, for God will reward them as God is a just God who is willing to reward those who bring up his law.
My goal is for the people to bring up justice with the sake of morality upheld. As morality is the basis of the relationship between man and God, and as morality itself defines the Just ethics of the Christians, then flock of the Lord best know what justice is and influence those who wish to be lost in the wilderness as a lost sheep.
