Kyla Manalac's reaction output about the RH Bill

I believe in the Church’s dislike against the bill, but what can they do? President Noynoy is in charge of the WHOLE PHILIPPINES, therefore he must consider all religions in the Phillippines. If properly and honestly approved, the Church cannot do anything against the bill. It does not promote abortion yes, but it may send out a message that sex is okay with birth control. If I were the cardinal, or one of the influential members of the Catholic community, I would hold a conference-telling people that although the bill was passed, we Catholics, inline with our religion, should still respect our religious laws, and not treat sex like a nonchalant event. Besides, the RH bill also prioritizes family planning and rights for women and children, which is what our country needs now. Our country is overpopulated, haven’t they noticed? If they cannot do anything to alleviate the poverty of our country, then I think they should let the government try, instead of pulling it down.

Honestly, I’d let the bill be passed. In the eyes of God, true strong spirited Catholics will not let the bill blur their view of religion. We should let the good effects of the bill outweigh the bad. From how I see it, the Church is concerned about people not taking sex seriously. Even though there will be condoms and birth control everywhere, true Catholics will not let sex be a casual thing, and I hope that’s one thing the Church can count on.
