Jesus told the parable of the mustard seed to His apostles, who asked Him to increase their faith. The mustard seed was able to do the impossible. The seed made a mulberry tree uproot and be planted in the sea. As for the servant, he did what he was obliged to do and did not question the commands of his master.
Basically, the gospel is teaching us to be faithful in everything – big things and little things. We should carry out the God’s deeds with all our heart and in the best way we can. God will do the rest. We should never question Him and have faith in His plan for us. What matters is how much love we pour in to our actions and how much we offer ourselves up to Him.
Failure is inevitable, and there are times when we don’t have the answers for anything, but we shouldn’t give in to our problems as long as we’ve done our best. Eventually, we will succeed as long as we have the drive to keep us going, and our faith in God should be that drive. No matter the reason we find ourselves lacking wisdom, seeking God invites His guaranteed solutions to our problems.
God gave us our talents, and what we do with our talents is what we give back to Him. When confronted with failure, faith is the answer to everything! We have to believe in ourselves and in God, because of He brings us to it, He’ll bring us through it, too.
