"Permanent" Excellent Gospel Reflection By: Ica Velarde

Permanent
By: Ica Velarde

In this gospel, Jesus reveals to us the importance of having faith in him. The apostles asked the Lord for some help in increasing their faith in him. He told apostles to become more obedient of what he asks them to do no matter how minuscule their faith is. For at the end, a humble servant shall get what he/she deserves.

Just like our faith in the Lord, we should have faith in ourselves. I believe that if we have enough faith in the Lord it would influence our confidence and our trust within ourselves. Just like the people who have failed and are really successful today, we should keep on taking risks because every risk leads to something great and if it doesn't then we should keep on going.

It is a given that in life we would always be distracted by different temptations around us, it is up to us the bear the challenge to stay strong as God's warrior. We should not let any of these bring us down simply because God knows we are better than what the world mirrors us. We are ought to live a life of challenges so that in time, we are worthy to attain the salvation that is entitled to all of us.

Nothing in this world is permanent. The only thing that would matter today and for all eternity is our faith. Tough times don't last, tough people do. Keep the faith going, keep it PERMANENT.
