Gospel Reflection
(Lk. 17:5-10)
SEE: The gospel was about a mustard seed and a servant. Unlike the mulberry tree, the mustard seed has a lot of faith that even the impossible things he believed in happened. The servant in the gospel had so much faith in his master. He didn’t question the requests of his master and willingly followed them.
JUDGE: Faith is impalpable. It is something that can’t be felt by touch, but in the gospel, it tells us to feel the wonders of God. We should have faith in Him. Just trust God and He will do everything even the most impossible. The gospel teaches us faith, trust, and obedience. We, as servants of God, should willingly follow Him. It shows us that physical appearance doesn’t matter as long as one’s spiritual aspect is there. Whether big or small, rich or poor, as long as one has a lot of faith, God will always be there.
ACT: After reading the gospel, I was encouraged to continue having faith in God and to not lose hope in everything that is good, which is also Him. God is everything that is good. It also touched my heart in a way that we shouldn’t look at the negative side of everything. We should keep on going and we should bring God along. It taught my mind that in everything that I do, I should remember that I am doing it for the greater glory of God. Striving in everything is something that should be done not only for me, but also for God. It transformed my life in a way that I looked on more the positive side of everything and to have faith in everything that is good in life. For in faith, there is trust, and in trust, there is love.
CONCLUSION: For short, in everything that you do, don’t forget to put God in the center, for He is the reason of everything and to take a leap of faith. For in faith, we find things that we didn’t think that existed.
