The Apostles asked Jesus to increase their faith. Jesus then compares faith to a mustard seed. He said that if one has faith the size of this seed, he may command a tree to uproot itself and plant itself in the sea, and the tree shall do as such. He then spoke of a master and a servant. The servant must do what the master tells them for it is their duty.
Faith is very important to a human being. Only by having unwavering faith in God can they ever find any happiness and success. There is much power in faith. Having even just a small amount of is enough to allow us to do great feats.
We, the servants of God, can be assured of eating and drinking from our Master’s bounty if we do our duty properly. Firstly, we must always remember to be obedient to God for we are his mere servants assigned to fulfil certain duties. Secondly, we must remain faithful to our Lord for he knows what is best for us.
We all know all too well that life has its dark tunnels. But if we continue on through these tunnels, always going the right way and always believing that the tunnel will end, we will be sure to find the light.
