Mary: The mother of all

By: Kristen Castañeda Sr-E

For 2000 years the Church has believed in Mary and her divinity. She plays a key role in the creation of the Church by being Jesus’ mother. Because of these factors, Christians now praise Marry for being the mother of God. As a Christian, I was brought up to understand that Mary is Jesus’ mother and she is my mother as well. She is the mother of God, which makes her the mother of all people. I consider her, as the greatest example of what a disciple of God should be because she followed God’s every word faithfully. When the Holy Spirit told her that she was to become the mother of God, she quickly agreed to becoming so and that show’s faith and loyalty. I also consider her as the greatest example of what a parent should be because she never ceased to love her son. I believe she is the greatest female that ever lived because her acts and her faith to God never ceased to amaze me. She was chosen by God to be the mother of his son and I believe that is a very big acknowledgement. Whenever I need something, sometimes I turn to her because she is a mother and when a mother asks something from her son it is hard for the son to say no. She is my guide in life, she is my faith, my hope and she is my mother. Without her the Church could not be established so I thank her for accepting to become our mother.
