A mother is the one who lights up a home, a mother is also the one who carries the burden of her children and no matter how bad or painful the mistake her children does to her, she will always endure it because of her undying love for her offspring’s. We men can never live in this world if not for our mother; they are the ones who took all the pain of labor and the hardships of growing a kid. Jesus, as divine and powerful as he is, still has an unconditional love and respect for Mary. As a human being on earth, no matter how heavy the situation is, no matter how much blood and sweat I scatter upon the fields, Mary as my mother and queen will always be there to support me through.

While journeying here on earth as a militant longing for triumph and success, I stumbled upon this story entitled “Our Lady of Juggler.” It is about a professional juggler who loves Mary very much and eventually became a monk with the help of another one. The juggler was so jealous that he can’t even do anything for Mary because all he can do was juggle things, but he didn’t let jealousy to break his bond with Mary. In order to please Mary, the monk juggled upside down every day in front of the statue of Mary and eventually Mary herself wiped his sweat without him noticing. The story inspired me that I also want something special to offer the queen of heaven and earth. Even though I hate a lot of things and I do not want to work for anything, there is something special about Mary that made me change my way of life. I have always adored Mary in my whole life as I have faith in Jesus his son, but like the monk in the story, I don’t have anything to offer my most adored queen. It gives me great sorrow to think that I have nothing to show to Mary, but I know that she will still be there despite my imperfections. This made me think of a new way of life, and that is to offer my studies and all other efforts for her. In my opinion, this is not enough to prove myself to her but I believe that one day I will be able to dedicate something very special for the queen. Through the story and other experiences, Mary taught me a lesson that it is not really important to use many things just to adore someone because it is the simplicity and deep sincerity that counts. Mary made me believe that I don’t have to be someone or something to have an offering for her, I just have to be what I am and show her that I am truly sincere.

Mary gave me a new meaning to life and she gave me a reason to live in this world. If I don’t have anything to do for anyone, I can always do something for her. Whenever I feel useless, I can always offer my sorrows to her. Mary as the mother and queen of earth showed me the way by serving as my light. She is a very special person to me and I’m not about to lose my journey on earth without going for it. I long for her embrace and through my studies, I offer her my most sincere actions.
