LET US INCREASE OUR FAITH BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

The apostles said to the lord “Increase our faith”. And the Lord compared faith with a mustard seed. He said that if one has faith the size of a mustard seed, he may command a tree to uproot itself and plant itself in the sea, and the tree shall do as he said. The lord is trying to say that if you open your hearts and minds for change then surely your faith will increase. He then compared comparing a master and a servant that no matter what the master asks the servant to do the servant will obey his/her master. The gospel reminds us of increasing our faith through emptying our cups.

The gospel simply tells us to have faith with the lord our God. It tells us to increase our faith and obey the lord. This tells us to be a good sheep and shepherd in the world that we are living in. The gospel is saying that we must uproot ourselves in order for us to increase faith. We must constantly move and not live a stagnant life for uprooting means change, mistakes and failures but if we allow ourselves to be uprooted by God then all is well. In relations to the video famous failures showed how life is a risk that we must take. That risk is actually like uprooting what we know and planting it somewhere else without assurance. Thus we shall say “Lord increase our faith”

As a Lasallian leader in Youth for Christ and The SRCC I make sure to constantly move about of my faith and it is not easy because I also go through ups and downs but that’s what makes me constantly renewing my faith to the lord. I would also like to take more risks in order to truly live and discover what my real vocation in life is. In taking risks and having faith at the same time will make me achieve what I am looking for in life. In my world today it’s not easy insecurities, lack of hope, lack or trust and many more but these things never stopped me from living and these things never stopped me from believing and maybe these things are those things that increased my faith. For they say in order to fix something it first must be broken. For that may God be praised.
Now, we must move about take risks, have faith and live life how he did. How Jesus Christ did.
