“Moving Mountains”

“Moving Mountains”

Faith, no matter how small, can move mountains. It is through faith in God that you can live a life of purpose and achieve feats you thought were unimaginable. Take the mustard seed for example. Who would’ve known that a tiny mustard seed could command a mulberry tree, almost a thousand times larger?

In this Sunday’s Gospel, our faith is likened to a minute mustard seed. However, Jesus does not condemn or criticize this as expected. Instead, he opens our minds to the fact that faith, no matter how small, is still faith. For as long as we remain steadfast in our faith in God, we will be blessed.

Likewise, in the video, “Faith Can Turn Failures into Success”, we are shown how important faith is in our lives, more specifically, faith in ourselves. I believe that is it through faith, perseverance and hard work that we can be successful.

Thus, we should keep our faith in God and what he has planned for us. When all odds are against us, we must not lose hope. After all, if Abraham Lincoln, after he failed in business class and defeated in eight elections, could make it big – why can’t we?

So, be steadfast in your faith. Who knows? In the future, we may all be moving mountains of our own.
