The Gospel tells us about faith and how our faith can be like a mustard seed and still make a mulberry tree move. It also talks about how we should be thankful to God no matter what happens to us. God does not deserve all the complaints and all the other negative things we attribute to Him. He has been good us since the beginning and we should all be thankful.
Although sometimes we may fail and lose faith in God, we should just clear our heads and get back on the right track. Michael Jordan might have cried in his room after being but from the high school basketball team, but now he’s the greatest basketball player of all time. Getting fired from a newspaper didn’t stop Walt Disney from making children’s dreams and fantasies come true. Being defeated in an election is hard enough, but after 8, Abraham Lincoln still didn’t stop running for presidency. Failing is normal, everyone goes through it. We may blame God for these unfortunate events, but it is just God’s way of telling you that you should push yourself harder, you’re going to be better than what you are right now or I have something better in store for you.
In my life, I take failures as lessons. I take some of them lightly, some not so. Every single failure has leaded me to who I am and how I think and deal with them. Sometimes, I have lost faith in God, and I thought to myself that I am going to fail because God wanted me to. I was wrong. I failed because I let myself fail. I struggle to keep my faith in Him sometimes and the darkest times of my life come when I lose my faith in Him.
We can only do so much, but God is omnipotent. Have faith in what He wants for you, because it may lead to truly good things. Try as much as you can not to lose faith and if ever you do, just clear your head and get back the faith that you lost in Him.
