“Mary, NOT MY mother, but OUR mother”

First of all, Mary is the wife of Joseph and the mother of Jesus Christ and we are made in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. If we are made in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, then Mary is not my “mother”, but our “mother” too.

My relationship with Mama Mary is very okay because she being our “mother”, she always guides and protects us from any harm and danger that will come in life. She also teaches us good things, good traits, and good personalities. She also helps us to solve our problems in life. In my 8 years being knights of the altar, Mama Mary gave me a lot of blessings, experiences, and lessons that I can use and apply in life. She made me realized that serving in the church is a big thing that you should be proud of. In my 3 years being a Chief Squire of the Columbian Squire, Mama Mary gave me the chance to help the poor people in different places here in Manila by feeding program and donating simple things. She also gave me the chance to clean different rivers here in Manila.

We should not forget Mama Mary as our “mother” because she is the one who helps, guides, and protects us in everything we do in life.
