Kristen Castañeda's Best Gospel Reflection: Taking in the hand of God

Sunday Gospel 2

God is the one true symbol of our faith for he is the ultimate source of worship. The gospel this Sunday reflects on how much our faith can have an affect on the guidance that God gives us. In the gospel Jesus tells his disciples, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” This shows that our faith will help us to do great things because of God.

Because of our faith, we are compelled to do wonders. “If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived.” Everyone fails because it’s just a natural part of life and we should always remember that just because we have failed doesn’t mean that we can’t back up again. Failing is hard for everyone but if we put our faith in God we can overcome our failure and improve ourselves for the better.

As a student, I have a lot of failures. Failing is part of my life. Although I have failures in my life, I have never let them put me down. My failures never let me down because I have trust in my God. I have faith in God knowing that he is always there to guide me through my life as long as I believe in him. I have never completely given into failure. How can I say so? I can say so because I am still living and I am still strong. It’s all because of my faith in God.

Faith, is putting all your trust in God so he can help you out. With the faith that you have in God, you can achieve great achievements.
