Christianity or presidency?
The Reproductive Health Bill is a pretty big dilemma of the Philippine Church today, because it allows the use of contraceptives in our economy. The Church believes that having this bill approved will cause people to engage in pre-marital sex. True the Church has a point in saying that it promotes sexual acts among the people, but then the RH bill was not created to do so. The RH bill actually has a good intention of helping with the issue of controlling over population in our economy. Since the Philippines has a lot of poor, those who are poor have nothing better to do but to engage in sexual acts which results into things such as having an unwanted child birth. It’s true the Church has a point in saying the RH bill promotes sin of doing a sexual act, but then the Church should know that it’s up to the people how they will use the bill. The Church should be teaching the people how they should use this bill to benefit us and not to use it in a malicious way.
