"Uncertainty", Excellent work of Ram Adrias Senior A

Uncertainty
By Ram Adrias Senior A

When we were born into this world God already has a plan for us. We may not understand how or why things happen to us but what I’m sure of is that God will never let anything happen to us that we cannot overcome. Right now as a Senior in highschool, people expect each and everyone of us to know what we’re going to be when we grow up. It scares me because I have no idea on what job I’m going to take. Even though I already filled out my application forms for college I am honestly scared that I picked the wrong course. But what keeps my heart at ease is that I have my family and friends who are all very supportive of me. I cannot fathom the fact of a life without them.
I guess what I am trying to say is that life is uncertain. We may always want to find the right answers but I believe that there are times that we just have to pick the wrong answer to be able to appreciate getting the right answer. I do not have a definite plan in life. But one thing I am certain of is that I want to be happy, as happy as I can be. I want to be able to wake up everyday with a smile on my face, to smile despite the problems in life. I guess what keeps me going is my vision for the future ahead of me. I see myself surrounded by the people I love the most. They say live life to the fullest and I want to be able to experience that. I guess my vocation in life is to be happy. Simple as it sounds but harder to achieve. Wherever the road may take me, whatever future is ahead of me, I want to be able to smile throughout the experience. I accept the fact that there will always be trials in life but I believe I will have more reasons to smile than to frown.
After writing this I am now very excited to live my life. Cliché as it sounds, I only have one life and I have to live it to the fullest. The road is uncertain for me but I guess that’s the beauty of life. It is in those moments we are lost that we find ourselves and it is in those moments we thank God for our lives.
