Why was Yugoslavia divided?
By: Cloyd Uyson
After the painful and tragic Second World War a lot of things happened which was mostly caused by the misunderstanding and envy of so many people. The desire for self interest and the pride that a particular person is better than the other, made the after math of World War second a truly unforgettable and unforgivable event. There were lots of countries which faced division due to the fact that if such countries will remain as it is, another world war may evoke.
Germany among others was one of the most famous nations which suffered division only to assure that nothing will once again come from them any plan whatsoever that may provoke another world war, this time the third world war. It is sad however for those other nations which suffered the same fate even if they did not do anything wrong like the Germans. One of these countries is Yugoslavia. This country is indeed one of the largest cities in the entire south east of Europe. This country is commonly known as the Balkans. These people known as the Yugoslavs were a nation which was greatly influenced by communism.
After the Second World War the Yugoslav suffered division due to the fact that the neighbouring countries which took custody of a certain portion of this nation cannot agree in terms of giving up its share. Germany, Hungary and Italy were the three said countries which took over one portion of the land area of this huge state in Europe.
Since each of these three nations does not want to be outsmarted by the other, a treaty was made with the help of the United Nation to settle the conflict between these three colonizers of Yugoslavia. They came into a conclusion that the said country of the Yugoslav people must be equally divided according to the three nations who claim to manage a portion of the land.
