GOSPEL 2
Lk 16:19-31
The Gospel was about a rich man who lived comfortably during his lifetime and a man named Lazarus. Lazarus is poor and suffered during his lifetime. While the rich man was eating heartily, Lazarus would lie at his door waiting for food to fall from the rich man’s table. When both of them died, The rich man went to hell and he suffered and he saw Abraham far off with Lazarus at his side.
This gospel teaches me to become more generous and to be thankful for what I have. It teaches us not to waste because there are a lot of hungry people who would do anything just so they could eat. Also, this gospel tells us to thank God for all the blessing he has given us. We are lucky that we have a house, we eat at least 3 times a day, and we go to school to learn. We should not take these things for granted.
I will join orgs or programs like Gawad Kalinga, so that I can help the needy in my own little way. Also, I will try to conserve the earth’s resources by saving water, food and electricity.
