The Bridesmaid’s Handbook

The Bridesmaid’s Handbook
 By: Anna Villanueva

“Always the bridesmaid, never the bride?” That’s one common cry among many young women in this age. So what really is the role of a bridesmaid in the wedding? Don’t fear, there are actually tons of ways for you to become that stunning bridesmaid without actually looking and feeling like the “bride’s maid.”
One of the simplest ways to avoid that wallflower scenario is by dressing appropriately. A good bridesmaid must know how to present herself beautifully without overshadowing the actual bride. One tip for those worried bridesmaids out there is this: Don’t thirst for attention. Yes, you may want to catch someone’s eye in that crowd, but don’t forget that it’s still the bride’s shining moment. With this, keep in mind that you dress yourself well without going overboard. Next, remember that personality is key. No one’s going to want to hang around a person who can’t keep her cool in social situations. Maintain that pleasant charm and be poised at all times! Simply be yourself for you never know – your own love story might actually begin right there. ;)
