To Become a Hotel and Restaurant Manager: My Earnest Goal in Life

To Become a Hotel and Restaurant Manager: My Earnest Goal in Life

Benjamin Paul P. Sibucao Sr-C

CL Individual Minor Project # 1

My interest to manage a hotel or a restaurant started when I was a young boy. We used to eat in famous restaurants and hotels with my family. I am amazed with the artistic preparation of food.
I want to achieve my goal and this is the most important thing in my present, past and future life.
Although I have my own dreams I always seek the advice and guidance of my family especially my parents and grandparents. What matters to me most is to finish my studies and have a good job.
I believe I will do good in being a chef or a restaurant and hotel manager because I am fond of good food. I am a friendly and sociable person. My weaknesses however are my being impatient and sometimes disorganized.

My happiest moments in life are my outreach experiences with my foster families in the community.
I also treasure my being a Chief Squire of the Columbian Squire. I have learned to interact with the less privileged people and enjoy activities like cleaning the rivers and feeding programs. These things satisfied me the most because I have learned to share my time and effort, an experience I value most.

Sharing and Helping are two “big” words because sharing your blessing with other people especially to the poor ones and helping the needy by donating a simple but meaningful item like rosaries can create unity in our Christian community. In my life, I had helped other people by sharing them food and by helping them through simple ways like donating my old clothes.
My professional role model is none other than Jesus Christ because all he did when he was still alive was all good things. He even sacrificed himself for us. My parents occupations had not influenced me because I chose my vocation in what I want and in what I enjoy doing. I’m enjoying cooking food and sharing it with other people.
For me professional success can be achieve when you graduate in college with high grades and getting a job fit in your chosen career and most especially you are happy and you are enjoying your chosen job. In deciding what vocation to choose in college, not my parents but my family is the one who supports and guides me in choosing my vocation.
I’m certain I will be a good and successful hotel and restaurant manager in the future because it’s my earnest goal in life.
