Reading a Short Story: Human Experience

Reading a Short Story: Human Experience

It has been Ulysses’ dream to join a fraternity. All his barkadas are already members of Scout Royale Brotherhood (SRB). And he envies the brotherhood and camaraderie displayed by the members of the fraternity. So, he decided to join SRB.

It took him quite some time to nurse his bruised legs and aching torso caused by the blows in the initiation. He didn’t know that what he had just embarked into not only meant body pains but also a lot of responsibilities. For one, he is now tasked to follow rules and regulations of the organization. At the same time, he is also tasked to protect the interest of the group as he promotes rapport and unity among the members. Indeed, he has entered a life totally different from what he has been used to.
