 "Learn from your mistakes"

Story inspired by Tower of Babel

There was once a kid named Denzel who loved to play outside with his friends. He is loving, kind, helpfull friend that always their to cheer up his friend when they’re in need. He is one of the smartest students in his class, who excell in math and science. It was a Friday morning, when their SS teacher announced that they were having a test about the early civilizations in asia on monday ,so he asked his friend ronin, his seatmate also known as his best friend since Grade school to help him with him review and study for the Long assesment tomorrow. Ronin answered “sure why not, i have spare time”. When the bell rang Denzel was already packed and ready to leave school, he hurridly went to house and told his mom about going to his friends house to review and study. His parents allowed him for one condition, “What is the condition” asked Denzel, “Dont go anywhere else”. Denzel promised that he would follow, so he went up to his room and slept. The next day denzel decided to have a walk in the park then he suddenly sees Matt and Rollio approaching him. They told denzel that there will be a party later night at his house and your invited. Denzel was really excited to come to the party but he had to go to his friends house. So his friends told him that you can leave anytime you want too.So Denzel decided to go to the party not even asking permission from his parents. At night, Denzel went to his friends party where their were a lot of food, drinks and other entertaining stuff. He was suppose to leave immediately as soon as it was 9oclock but he lost track of time. While ronin was waiting in his house for denzel, denzel was just partying. Denzel fell as sleep at his friends house since he was tired of partying.

The next day he ran back to his house,his parents got mad and gave him a punishment for disobeying and lieing to them. Denzel was grounded for 1year and he had to apologize to Ronin for not coming to his house, since ronin prepared for the reviews. When it was test day, Denzel didnt know anything about the test, so when he got the results he failed and he learned to never disrespect again.

Reflection:

The story tower of babel showed me that if you disobey or lie to someone, that trusts you you will get a punishment for it. We should learn from our mistakes and never commit it again. We should learn to accept our punishment for the bad things we have done.
