One of the most controversial episodes in the presidency of the USA was the impeachment trial that involved former president Bill Clinton. Clinton allegedly started from his illicit affair with one of his closest personal secretary, the gorgeous and pretty Monica Lewinsky and with a particular lawsuit with an equally beautiful Paula Jones lawsuit. This event which attracted the entire world took place last December 19, 1998. He was eventually acquitted by the American Senate maybe perhaps due to the greater number of his political party in the Senate. The house of representative on the other hand made it a point to impeach the controversial president due to the many charges against former president Bill Clinton.
The trial of this impeachment of Clinton emerged various reactions not only from the American citizens but more so from various parts of the world because whatever the consequence of his trial it will surely affect the entire global community. During the said proceedings of the trial of the said former president, every American household focused intently on their respective televisions regarding the various updates brought about by the impeachment controversy. People were so eager on what could eventually happen if former president Clinton will indeed be impeached. For certain the Vice president during that time could have been the legal successor of Clinton had he been formally and legally removed from office. God thing it was not his fate and it somehow saved the entire globe from possible crisis.
Charges which include obstruction of justice, perjury, and malfeasance in office were the very key factors that triggered the US Senate and the House of Representative. However those people from the Senate found those charges to be not that strong which acquitted Clinton from all the charges that could have brought him and his family to greater shame due to the impeachment controversy.
