As evident in the title, I am pro-RH bill. Contraceptives are already legal. Why not promote the use of these contraceptives to prevent more unwanted birth? The way I see it, I don't think there will be an increase in the number of sexually active people. There will only be a decrease in the number of unwanted births. The RH bill will not tell people to do it. The RH bill will tell people to use protection "if" they do it. Whether or not the RH bill gets approved, people will still have the same level of discipline when it comes to doing "it." But if the RH bill gets approved, then there's a much better chance that people will use protection when doing "it" thus reducing the number of unwanted births and controlling poverty. Besides, the huge number of unwanted pregnancies has led to even bigger sins like robbery, murder and theft, the sins that poverty is causing. Considering the number of sexual activity does not increase but the number of the users of protection does, then the use of contraceptives might actually reduce the number of abortion cases since the number of unwanted pregnancies are decreased too. To sum it up, the population control and the possible decrease in abortion cases would be like two birds hit by one stone, the RH bill.
