The reproductive health bill will let us use contraceptives for birth control in our country. With this bill, the population problem of our country would probably decrease, but the Church is strongly against it. They are even planning to excommunicate President Noynoy Aquino for passing this bill. I may be a solid Christian supporter all of my life, but I think I will have to side with President Noynoy on this one. The bill will probably improve our country poverty-wise, because poor people have higher birth rates in our country. It may seem weird enough that the people without sufficient money are giving birth a lot more compared to those who have enough, thus the number of poor people increase. The bill will help stop this problem, because instead of practicing unsafe sex, they would be limited because of the use of contraceptives. I know the Church taught us how we should go out and multiply, and that we shouldn't do anything to prevent life, but not everyone of us could say no to temptation. Not everyone of us are properly educated about sex. There are some Filipinos who don't practice what the Church teaches us anymore, and that's why I think this bill should be passed. It is for them who are vulnerable to temptation. President Aquino took a bullet for them. Being excommunicated for the good of a lot of them.
