Title: Pentecost

Summary: The video is about the story when the holy spirit showed itself to the apostles and made them speak in different languages. After a while the jews staying in Jerusalem heard them talking so they came to the building they were staying in.
When the Jews got there they saw the apostles and were confused because they were talking in their mother tongue, so the jews made jokes and taught they were crazy. Then peter stood up for the apostles.

Reflection: I think that the Holy Spirit gave the apostles hope so they can continue to teach about God. The Holy Spirit is like a giver who gives people hope during their time of need.

Action plan: my action plan is to be a good example to others so that they will feel good.. and so thy will no the right thing to do...?

Gospel Reflection of Matthew Sy 9D

Title: Pentecost

Summary:
The video we have watched is all about Pentecost. During this day, the apostles were all hiding in one place. This was after the death of Jesus Christ. They were scared because they might get killed because of their relationship with Jesus. Just then, the Holy Spirit came down unto them in flames of fire causing them to speak in different languages. They then went out and preached the Word of God. This was regarded as the Birth of the Church because this was the day when the Apostles had to courage to go out and tell the people of what God wanted them to say.

Reflection:
After reading about Pentecost, I learned a valuable lesson from it. It teaches us that we should be like the apostles. We should not be afraid of saying what we believe. We should, in our own little ways, say the Word of God and teach others to do the right thing.

Action Plan:
Just like the Apostles, I will go out and influence others to do the right thing. I will be able to do this by incorporating the Word of God to what I say. I will also try to be nicer to other people by saying nice things and being friendly.

Gospel Reflection By Dorothy Bayang GR-9D

 Title: Pentecost
Summary: The gospel talks about the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and how the Holy Spirit was able to work in the apostles to spread the word of God. It also talks about the power of the Holy Spirit in everybody's lives, not only the apostles. We also have a glimpse of the plans of God for the future and how significant and essential the Holy Spirit is in His plans.

Reflection: No matter how many times I have heard this story of Pentecost, I always learn something new from this. God has always been guiding me everyday through the power of the Holy Spirit. Every time my father leaves for his job, it has always been hard for my family to manage without him. Although I cried every time I reached the airport, I always felt the comfort of God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also helps me in my journey in school.

Action plan: For my action plan, I want everyone to feel the Holy Spirit working in their lives, even though they have overlooked that situation. I will spread the love that God has bestowed upon His children through the Holy Spirit. The Bible will be my aid in this plan of mine.

What makes a Hero Video

Sunday Gospel (June15, 2014)

Sunday Gospel (June15, 2014)                                  Jn 3:16-18
Holy Trinity Sunday
God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
